Business is booming for a small car dealership after they implemented a clever new social media strategy to drive traffic.
Southeast Auto Sales at Slacks Creek, in Brisbane’s south, started snapping photographs of proud new car owners with ultra-glamorous female models.
The marketing ploy has seen the family-owned business go from 34 likes and five comments on a Facebook post on February 3, to receiving over 10,000 likes and 29,000 comments just two days later.
But the sales tactic has also sparked controversy online with some users calling out the car yard for objectifying women.
